As the parent, you set the tone for your family.
It is only logical, then, to focus on you as the caregiver- how you're feeling about your child's behavior, how you're responding to their behavior and determine whether these responses are serving your family. Parenting is not just you and your child(ren). Your parenting is influenced by so many factors: how you were parented, societal norms, the stress of living in this go-go-go culture, just to name a few. Getting clear on your values, priorities, and resources is vital to becoming the parent you want to be. There is so much pressure on parents to, "get it right" and be perfect all the time. We're here to tell you that perfect is not possible and help you realistically navigate this parenting journey.
Behavior is communication.
What is your child's behavior telling you?
What is your behavior telling them?
At the Conscious Parent Collective, we take a look at the whole picture, not just a single behavior, to address possible root causes and areas for growth within the family unit. Most importantly, we operate from the belief that kids are inherently good. Kids do the best they can with what they have. It's our job as caregivers to continually initiate and foster connection with our kids. Without a solid foundation, we cannot adequately meet the child where they need us most.
Through coaching, parents learn the research on the why and how of creating and maintaining secure attachment throughout the life span. By looking at our own generational patterns and engaging in continuous self- reflection on the part of the parent, we can begin to understand why we act the way we do and how to gradually change the narrative. Once a child feels securely attached to you as the caregiver, we support parents to address various communication, and/or social- emotional needs by teaching skills. So often we expect our child(ren) to just know how to act or respond, but it is quite possible your child simply does not have the ability (skills) to do it independently just yet. They need to be taught by their greatest teacher. Your child's greatest teacher is you, their caregiver.
How do you want your kids to remember how you made them feel?
We can help get you there.

Ease
You will learn the neuroscience, childhood development patterns and evidence-based strategies according to your unique child(ren). Through coaching sessions, you will learn how to seamlessly integrate this knowledge into your day-to-day life.

Clarity
There is so much noise on how to parent in this day and age. Through coaching sessions, you will reflect on your beliefs/values, which dictate your priorities and goals for your specific family situation to become the parent you want to be. Not the parent society, friends or family are telling you to be.

Grace
We acknowledge the stressors and hardships of our daily lives. It is not always easy to be a conscious parent. Through coaching, you'll learn how to effectively repair with your child when you lose your patience or respond in a way you wish you didn't. There is so much power in the repair process.
